Ataraxia Capital, part of the broader PANA Holdings ecosystem, has completed an equity investment in PhiEDGE HR Tech Private Limited, marking a significant step in the HR technology company’s next phase of growth. The strategic investment has positioned PhiEDGE for accelerated growth across India and expansion into African markets.
The agreement, signed on 21 August 2026, brings together investment capital, technology, human capital expertise and enterprise experience around a shared ambition to build and scale technology solutions that respond to the evolving needs of organisations and their people.
Building a Platform for Growth
PhiEDGE has developed an integrated Human Resource Management System designed to support organisations across the employee lifecycle. Its proposition combines HR technology with deep people-consulting expertise, extensive application of artificial intelligence and a strong focus on data security.
As an ISO 27001-certified organisation, PhiEDGE has established a foundation for delivering HR technology solutions in environments where security, reliability and organisational performance are increasingly interconnected.
Ataraxia's investment will support PhiEDGE as it strengthens its position in the Indian market and begins expanding its international footprint, with Africa identified as an important market for this next phase of growth.
Where Technology Meets People Expertise
The partnership is underpinned by significant experience across human resources, organisational transformation, enterprise development and industry.
PhiEDGE’s promoters include Vibha Anoop, who brings more than 30 years of experience in human resources and organisational development, including leadership experience with Godrej & Boyce and the Aditya Birla Group, and Anoop Ramachandran, who has spent more than three decades working with Boards, promoters and CEOs to build scalable and high-performance organisations.
The partnership also draws on Dr. Daere Akobo's experience as Founder and Group CEO of PANA Holdings and Founder & CEO of Ataraxia Capital, whose three-decade career spans Africa’s oil and gas industry and the development of enterprises across energy, mining, power, and infrastructure.
Together, the partnership creates an opportunity to combine technology and people expertise with market knowledge, enterprise capability and strategic investment.
Creating Pathways Between India and Africa
The transaction represents a broader opportunity to create stronger commercial and technology connections between two high-growth markets.
As organisations across Africa continue to evolve, the demand for technology that can improve workforce management, organisational visibility, decision-making and employee experience will continue to create new opportunities for HR technology providers.
PhiEDGE’s expansion provides a platform for bringing its HRMS capabilities into these emerging opportunities while continuing to strengthen its operations and market presence in India.
For Ataraxia, the investment reflects an approach centred on identifying enterprises with the potential to scale, create long-term value and bring relevant technologies and capabilities into new markets.
The investment therefore marks not simply the beginning of a new partnership, but the opening of a new growth corridor connecting technology, talent and enterprise across India and Africa.
PANA Holdings congratulates the Ataraxia and PhiEDGE teams as they embark on this next phase of growth.
